This Place Changes Everything
From the moment a family realizes they need assistance with their child, Pope’s Place is ready to help. Starting as a pediatric group home that provided respite care to families of medically fragile children, we’ve expanded to include an adult family home. Pope’s Place is a shining example of community good.
Pediatric Group Home
We provide care for medically complex children with special health care needs. We provide daily or short-term respite care, residential long-term care, and transitional care from hospital to home. During registration, a Registered Nurse will develop an individualized care plan, with a thorough understanding of the care and medical concerns of your special needs child.
Our patients come from all over the Pacific Northwest for Pope’s Place unique programs and level of expertise. Respite care is provided and fees are based on your ability to pay.

Young Adult Family Home
Vivian’s House is a residential, transitional, and respite group home, for young adults who still need a high level of nursing care, but no longer need acute hospitalization. We provide 24-hour nursing care in a small group home setting. We individualize treatment plans that include physical, occupational, social work, and education. When possible our Vivian’s House residents may further their education, participate in recreational and cultural outings and interact with other individuals.
For those who do not have family, we are dedicated to providing nurturing love and support.
